Fix your AM routine
Set alarm to wake up same time every day, and it really helps. Get up as soon as your alarm goes off, grab yourself some water, a hoodie and get outside. Whether you listen to a podcast, music, there’s no better way to start your day than breathing in the fresh air!
Invest in an affordable and decent water bottle, and fill it first thing in the morning. Set regular reminders on your phone to drink, or mark it on your bottle itself. There are plenty of benefits to staying hydrated, and you really do feel the difference. You can also slices of cucumber, or mint leaves in your bottle.
Life is too short to not be smiling. Watch your favourite T.V. show, scroll on TikTok or tell a joke to friends, allow yourself sometime to do it each day.
Write down your achievements
At the end of the day, make a note of things you’re proud of, and one thing you’re grateful for. It could be either work-related or something simple. Writing these things down can help to keep us grounded, but also remind us of how much we’re achieving.
You can’t nail your morning routine without a decent night’s sleep. Make your bedroom a sanctuary : dull lighting, cool temperatures, and perhaps a lavender sleep spray for ultimate cosy vibes. Switch off devices an hour or two before bedtime.
